The Parts of Speech___Basic Grammar
Everu word is one of speech or the other.The parts of speech are Eight in number:

1.The Noun
A noun is a word use to name a person, place,thing or idea.
e.g, 
Child,Qadeer, City, square,car,struggle,honesty, achievement and fairy etc.
The stranger comes from Abadan. A sage (wise man) in rags is better than a fool in robes.

2.The Pronoun
A pronoun is a word used in place of a noun.
e.g,
I, Me,you,she,them,it,which,who ,he etc.
Aslam is a great person.He is our teacher.
Note: There  (He ) is Pronoun

3.The adjective
An adjective is a word used to describe or add to the meaning of a noun or a pronoun.
e.g,
Great,small,beautiful,weak,upper,lower,stronger,better
He is our great leader. We are his strongest supportes.

4.The determiner
A determine is a word used before a noun to show what is refer to.
e.g,
My  shirts,winning party,which book, what college,many student,every person(determiners italicized).

5.The Verb
A verb is a word that says something about a person,placeor thing.
e.g,
sit,jump,is,fail,rise,think,decide.
Does she always help you?Climb up the heights or fall into the depths,but don't sit still.

6.The Preposition
A preposition is a word that shows the connection of a noun or pronoun with another word.
e.g,
on, in, under, above, toward or towards
She has confidence in me.The society can move towards better destinations.

7.The Conjunction
A counjunction is a word that joins word or sentences.
e.g,
and, or,but,through,yet, so, either,neither, nor.
Raise, or you will fail.I helped the sick man though I was very tired.

8.The Adverb or modifier
An adverb is a verb that adds to the meaning of a verb,adjective or another adverb or any part of speech except a noun or pronoun.
e.g,
quickly, honestly, fast, quite, dramatically,critically.
They returned home quickly.They work honestly.This building is truly beautiful, but quite small for all our family.Without new dams, the country will move backwards.

9.The Interjection or exclamation
An interjection is a word or sound that shows feeling or emotions.
e.g,
Ah! Alas!Oh!Hurrah!Ah!Pooh (for disapproval)
Ah!It is the same book I needed. Alas!our great leader is dead.What a fine plan indeed!
